Electronic commerce revenues will exceed
$1.3 trillion by 2003

Based upon ActivMedia's 6th Annual "Real Numbers behind Net Profits" study, electronic commerce revenues will exceed $1.3 trillion by 2003. Web revenues continue to flourish across all industry sectors and expectations of online merchants who participated this year indicate that 1999 will be a banner year for online commerce -- reaching $95 billion.

Revenue growth rates of 150% -- up from 72% are forecast for 1999 and 138% for 2000 as online buyers rely on the 'Net for a wider range of goods and services.
